diy: personalized phone charger

I upgraded my phone recently and I was having trouble finding my charger in the pile of Apple cables we have in our house.  This project took less than five minutes and cost me less than $1 to make.

It was so ridiculously easy that I feel a bit silly calling this a diy project.  I used a scrapbooking embellishment tape (that I found in the dollar spot at Target), but washi tape would also work well.  You can find washi tape wherever office supplies are sold or in craft stores with the papercraft supplies.  There are so many options out there that you can change your charger’s look as often as you want.

All you have to do is wrap the tape around your charger and trim as needed.  It’s that easy!

handmade wedding

My sister got married last fall and my mother, being the creative woman she is, crafted almost every little detail that made my sister’s special day that much more meaningful.  She received an overwhelming response from family and friends, encouraging her (sometimes nagging her) to go into business as an event planner.  She is currently back in school to get her MBA and I am very proud of her.  Here’s a small peek at some of the beautiful things she created for the wedding.
